Default How do you hook up a blowdown tube?

I'm really lost on this. I have no idea how to hook up my blowdown tube. I read that I will need different valves or something? I just bought a NOS blowdown tube and it has no vales or anything in it. Also I read that I have to hook it up when the bottle is empty? Where do I find the T-fitting to hook it up?

Thanks in advance.

You have to buy a Blow off Valve, or NHRA Fitting. On the bottle next to the valve is a small fitting on the side with what looks like a vent. When the bottle is empty, remove that valve, and install blowoff fitting, then the blowdown tube screws onto the fitting.

Awesome, thanks dude. I guess I'll have to install the tube after I run this bottle empty.

Do not overtighten the rupture disc, follow the instructions (I believe its 15 ft pounds). If you overtighten it, you weaken it, which may cuase the disc to fail at a lower pressure it was designed for.
