I have my bottle opener, purge, and both solenoids hooked to the same 20A fuse. It did well for a while then blew the fuse. I am guessing there is too much to that one fuse. Would it be OK to upgrade the fuse or should I find alternate power sources for each thing?

 

I don't know whose products you're using, but I have the NX kit and accessories. The two solenoids (fuel & nitrous) draw 31 amps combined, the heater draws 18 amps, and the opener draws 15 amps. My purges draw 8.5 each.

 

Its an NX kit, I guess I need to switch some wires around then.

Just run seperate power supplies to the noids. That way your not dragging amps thru one wire.

 

I've had much better results using relays whenever possible.This allows smaller gauge wiring for the controls and the larger gauge wire for power.

I would suggest a 12v switched source to a relay, through a arm sw, for each device. Then a direct 12v from batt source with a fuse of needed size to said relays. Much safer this way, as you don't want a failure at the wrong time, or to burn your ride down. I run a total of 7 relays and have had zero problems.
