Default Problems with Solenoid?

I have a NOS 5177 kit. I have 2 solenoids for the nitrous feed to the air lid and another solenoid for the purge.
Right now, I can purge my nitrous just fine.
I can't get the nitrous to activate at WOT. So I shut the engine down, arm the Nitrous, and then manually push on the WOT switch on my TB. Well, the solenoids "click" but no nitrous spray's out into the airbox, hmmmmm. I thought maybe something got stuck in the solenoid, but I don't know.
Funny thing is, one of the solenoids gets hot while the system is armed! I mean, hot to the touch. The other two solenoids are cool to the touch. Has anyone experienced this before? Should I try and fix the solenoid somehow? Is there a way to rebuild them? HELP!

Thank you

Sounds like you have power going to one solenoid the whole time and it may have killed the coil. You can get a new coil if that is the case

Check your wiring. It is easy to cross a wire. Even with a simple dry kit. I have rewired many kits that customers have installed. It's not there fault, you just have to take your time. Anyway, you can pull the solenoids off and send them to NOS, they;ll check them out for you if there isn't anyone there where you live. And remember, don't activate the solenoids too long that will burn them up. Good luck, keep us posted..

Okay, update! I checked all of my wiring....looks good! I should probably have use some Male/Female connectors, but I saudered all of my wiring instead, oh well, it looks good! Now, I have NO idea why it is getting hot. I think I SHOULD send it in though, if it's a burnt coil, I want it fixed and not cause some more damage later! I do think that the bottle pressure may have been the culprit of my N20 not working. I did a search for common solenoid problems, and I gathered that if you have too much pressure, they don't always like to open. Well, that day I was trying to use the gas, the bottle pressure was over 1200 psi. I was parked out in front of my buddies house in the sun, the interior of the car was hot (98 degrees that day). Well, now that the car sat overnight in my garage and cooled down... the system seemed to work.
I am going to look into that hot solenoid thing though! That makes me nervous a llittle! I have a couple of spare solenoids off my buddies kit I can throw on there for now and see what NOS comes up with.

Thanks for the replys. I hope it all works this weekend, LOL!
