Default Question on purge line

I'm trying to decide what size purge line to go with

I'm going with dual purge, I want a semi large cloud, but I also want it to shoot a decent distance.

I hate it when I go to the track and someone purges and you can barely see it

that or its just one big cloud around the car (i.e. doesn't shoot high in the air)

I can get just about any size line so large or small, anything works

The visibility of the cloud is a lot of times due to temp and humidity not just the purge kit. As far as I know, the kits dont control distance either, that is dertermined by line pressure, but I could be wrong on that. I have the -4AN purge kit from NOS and here is what mine looks like:

Well if your main concern is getting a big purge, switch the purge line from your metal liune to a -4 line, that will get you distance and cloud. If you really want to go big you can upgrade the solenoid to a big shot or a cheater solenoid (aka the bigger ones) for a massive cloud.
