Default changing plugs

I'm running NGK-TR6 plugs with a 200 shot(DP) and 114 leaded gas. How often should the plugs be chaged? Do you guys go by miles, bottles, passes, dyno pulls? I haven't checked them latley, and was just curiuos. The other situation I'm running into is that I'm only picking up about 160hp on a NX DP kit. I've played with the a/f anywhere from 10.5-12.5 and pulled out as much as 12 degrees of timing. It made most power with no knock at 4 degrees pulled out and 114 gas. I am running a 4000 vigilante converter and a th400. anybody out there with a similar drivetrain with results? Thanks in advance guys!

the t400 is probably what's eating alot of your hp.on 114 i wouldn't think you should have to pull more than maybe 6* tops but i could be wrong.i would keep a check on the plugs before each trip to the track.

I ran 114 and pulled four degrees. Iunderstand that that the th400 eats power, but is there anybody out there with dyno numbers and spray with the 400?

well you have to figure a little loss because the kit is probly rated at flywheel hp... then you have to figure a slight loss because of all the factors that go with nitrous (bottle pressure, fullpressure, timing, jets, temp)

NX kits are rated at the wheels thats for sure. The bottle pressure was always between 1050-1100. I laso have four degrees pulled out with my timing box. How much can say 15 degrees affect nitrous horsepower?
