has anyone heard or know about a kit that will spool up a turbo for launching?

I haven't done it personally, but I know of a Grand National buddy who is doing it. He has really big turbo, but since it is a street car he didn't want to go with a huge stall to make it spool. He has a standard NX single nozzle wet kit with a window switch. Turns a 75 shot on off the line at 2200 rpm and off at 4000 rpm when the turbo begins making significant boost. Drops his 1/4mile times by 4 tenths.

The turbo chevelle we have at the shop has a NOS kit installed in the exhaust line before the turbo. It is a 15lb bottle that uses CO2, when stagging its turned on, it adds the additional exhaust flow to reach optimal boost on lauch. Really neat setup.

We have several kits. You can rig it up to come on with a wot sw, when armed and shut down with a manual sw, ws or boost sw or let it go while wot.
