Default Race Gas and Nitrous

I am FINALLY going nitrous after decades of running NA. My times were high 11's at high 119's.

My H/C + Bolt Ons LS1 Z28 should be running around 550 rwhp (224 cam)when I get it back from the local speed shop tomorrow. All I did was slap on a basic NX wet kit.

Dumb question: A service station down the road just put in a race gas pump. The timing is incredible. It pumps 110 octane leaded.

OK, is all race gas leaded? I have no cats, so can I/should I pump some of the 110 in with my supreme 93? I am not sure if my tuner did anything with my timing. I will find out tomorrow.

What do you junkies think?

your problem will be the o2 sensors. You should just get some 100 or 105 unleaded. If I am not mistaken there are some new o2 sensors that can handle leaded fuel though.

Yea, there are O2's that can handle leaded. There also some people running with with stock O2's and no problems

I gotta find these. This station is almost walking distance from my house. Freaking thing is almost calling my name out every time I drive by it...

Thank you gentlemen

another option would be to check out harris speed works stand alone unit filling your car up with 110 is going to get very expensive and is not going to help you out n/a their unit is pretty cheap and a great quality peice and it will only spray when the nitrous sprays so their would be less chance of ruining your o2's it definitly will pay for itself in the long run

I wouldn't suggest filling up on race fuel, just mix some in with some 93. When I head to the track I will put in 2-3 gals at the most.
