Default How much longer will a 15lber last over a 10lber???

I have a 10lb bottle feeding dave's 150hp wet plate system.

How many 1/4 mile runs can I expect from a 10lber as oposed to a 15lber?

I was also thinking about just getting an additional 10lber to switch out when the first gets empty!

Seriously!!!!

That makes total sense, but I have heard different things. The latest I heard is that it will last twice as long. The physics don't add up in my mind, but hey............I'm not that book smart anyway.

Hence.........this post.

A 20 pound bottle would be twice the runs. 50% would be the number of runs you get from a 10 pounder plus half that number.. 12 runs on a 10 pounder would be 18 on a 15, for example.

I like to think of using a 15lber this way, you'll have half again more runs compared to a 10lb'er. Your not doubling size, your only increasing size by half, or 50%. So, running out in one day is a lesser chance running a 15lb'er. Now, two 15lb'ers...

Thats what I thought. I think I'll just get another 10lber that way I can swap them out when one is empty.

Your funny! Hey, I'm gonna call you in the morning. The main fuel line that feeds my fuel noid from the fuel rail is too short. Its only about 6-8 inches long and I need one about 18 inches long. I'm hoping you know of a local shop that sells lines that size........
