misunderstanding something

so today a mechanic tells me that wet and direct port are the same thing... i thought they were different.. can anyone clear this up?

well kinda. the directport include a sincle nozzle per cylinder which shoots gas and nitrous at the same thing into the cylinder.. a wet kit is basically the same think but for the ls1 its usually one nozzle that goes after the MAF.. same idea but the direcport include 7 more nozzles.
