N2O pressure drop

N2O pressure drop so i was really begining to wonder how big of an effect this had..
we took my buddys 02 saleen to the track a few weeks back and on a 150 pop with 2 bottles and a 11.7 a/f at 1100psi bottles he went 11.42 at 122
now we went back a week ago and only ran one bottle.. same jets same 1100psi.. almost the same 60' he want .01 slower in the 1/8th and only and 11.88 at 116.. fell off big time up top..
so we changed nothing but added my extra bottle.. same 1100 PSi little slower on the 60' he was dead nuts on in the eith again and 11.49 at 121.6
so makes me wonder how much of a pressure loss of lack in flow people are seeing up top and why..
maybe one of thise nitrogen push systems will be in my future after all

Part of the problem was you started out at such a high pressure. The higher the starting pressure the faster the pressure will drop. Starting out a little lower around 950psi or so might keep it closer to the time it ran on one bottle. But I think if you are concerned with pressure drop you would be better of to go to 2 10lb bottles or a single 15 instead of trying to do a push system. 150hp is fairly small and doesn't really require a lot of volume to maintain an acceptable pressure drop in a 1/4 mile pass.
