Default Install Problems

well i finally got my kit installed... nitrous direct prokit dry... with msd window switch (3200-6000) and nx tps activation switch and a FPSS. well when i hook up the main power/ground that i made for the whole system to the battery to test it the solenoid pulses a little nitrous out when i put postive lines onto the battery. and when i take it to like 3000 and punch it till 6k the solenoid doesnt activate... any ideas? im thinking maybe signl for the tps box... i taped into the blue line off the TB... this is for a 99 c5 vette btw... i wanna get the solenoid spraying before i run wires to the switch though.

Call Dave at Nitrous Outlet tomorrow. 866-648-7637. He is the man. Even I go to him with these kind of issues, and I install nitrous for a living. Sometimes it's good to have a fresh set of eyes looking at a wiring nightmare.

im gonna rip the wiring off this weekend and re wire it again to the diagram but im gonna test the solenoid with the bottle hooked up with just the tps sensor and then with window switch and then hook them together and try to rule out whats going on.

Likely a wiring issue. even us guys that have been doing it a long time have wiring gremlins. Maybe dave would help, but he's with the wrong company and dosen't deal the PRO Dry kits. Pm me if you still need help, leave your number and I'll call ya and we can get ya running. i will be around all weekend installing the new Ultimate PRO Dry.

What is the MSD set at mode wise?
Next check and see if the fuel pressure safety switch needs to be adjusted. You can just bypass it while testing to see if the system fires..

Check your grounds to the solenoids..

As for the solenoid pulsing did that just happen once?

We help people all the time with other companies products.
We do not mind at all.

The cool thing is there is always 3 to 4 people that are in the tech offices to answer the phone when someone calls. So when they are in a pinch they can get the help they need when they need it.

Sounds like NX Lightning Noids on the Pro Dry...

IMHO (as in my case being 50 shot limited with injectors...) The Ultimate dry kit would include the NX Lightning Noids w/ a purge, a Beer Panel, a heater, and a Set of #37 injectors, and a window switch

I have pics of my 99 and were we tapped into to get RPM and TPS signals for the "Trick" Window switch. They are in the wiring sticky.

Shhhhhhh.... Active ingredients are still top secret, but yes some NX goodies amongst others may or may not be included.
