Default Putting together safe as possible Dry system. Did I miss anything?

For my 01 Z06...

This is all dynotune products:

Dry kit: $349
DynoTune Two Stage RPM Window/TPS Switch : $129
Bottle warmer: $99
Bottle opener: $219
Corvette Nitrous switch panel: $59
Dynotune Air/Fuel Ratio Nitrous shut-down switch: $149
Purge kit: $69
N20 bottle pressure guage: free

TOTAL: $1073.00

AFTER WALK IN DISCOUNT: $858.40

Did I miss anything that could improve the system to make it even more safe?? So many parts and accessories, it gets confusing!

Can anyone give my any idea on what the install cost will be?

You won't need a FPSS if your using a dry kit!

Other than that.......the kit is complete and you should be good to spray safely!

Those are the Crazy Ed prices I been talking bout

If your in DynoTune land (New England), I would highly recommend Vinny @ 860 Performance for the install. He did both my systems wet and dry.

PM me for more info.

Hmm, Dean said to use Dez racing if going to MA, that he is affiliated with them. How much did your install cost you? How much you think all the above parts will cost??

I am in Maine, so New Hampshire was easier for me (thats were 860 is). I did as much work that I could have done to reduce the installation cost. When I showed up @ 860, My passenger seat was out as well as the door trim and sill plate, my bottle was installed, the mainline was run, the heater was installed and working, as well as the remote pressure gauge, the window switch was installed but not wired. The noids (except the fuel) were already installed. I think it was about 4 hours, then off to the dyno. I will say getting it like that for him took me three days though LOL.

I don't recall what all mine cost was Jan/Mar 06 era, but I got the Dyno Tune Dry kit converted to dual nozzles and got RWP jetting, I added a LC-1 wideband and a remote pressure gauge, window switch. Like you I went down there to visit (best time is when the pizza shows up....) and left with all kinds of goodies.

Whats the benefit of going dual nozzles? Also what's RWP Jetting and a LC1-wideband?

Like I said, I am trying to make this as solid and safe system as possible with every possible safety measure, so if I am missing anything, please let me know. I am pretty much a noob when it comes to N20.

Also, anyone have opinions on the Air/fuel shutdown switch? its a new safeguard product from them. For $149, I hope it works!

I just preferred the looks of dual nozzles. Some kits listed are HP at the crank, and some are at the wheels. I just made sure to ask for jetting that would give me 50, 75, and 100 at the wheels. The LC-1 wideband is a standalone gauge that measures AFR.

I see your in New York, I figured since you were going to get it as a walk in you were in the Mass area. Your driving a couple of hours like I did

Is the Dynotune kit rated at the wheels? I want to just do a 100 shot, but I was 100to the wheels.

yeah, it'll be a few hours for the trip

The WOT is built into the window switch (at least the one I got from them).

Watch your injector duty cycle, you may need larger injectors for the dry shot.

Doesn't my car come with the 28#'s? I figured that would be enough for just a 100 shot, no?

Should be, but not always. If you want to play it "safe" take a look at the injector duty cycle and A/F if possiable.

Neither did I
Now I am playing with EFI Live Scan. $250 for the software and a laptop and your in business. Green Light Motorsports, a forum vendor is where I got my EFI Scan.

Pretty interesting seeing whats going on during a run. My 50 shot dry, goes to 106% duty cycle on the injectors.

My 26 # will not support a 75 shot (AFR is 13+). But that is a whole different thread

Upgrading the injectors and the software (Scan to Tune) in a couple months.

Christ, I thought N20 was supposed to be easy and cheap. Feel like I'm dealing with chemistry now. Making me want to go to a simple LT's & cam setup, lol.
