MSD window switch problem

Default MSD window switch problem
do you need some kind of relay to run the white wire to the tach?
can the white wire not connect to the tach straight on?

tap in to #10 wire on the PCM connector (tach output), no relay needed for rpm signal, just one for the noids

the guy told me it was an MSD 2 step??
not to well on electronics so i dont know, but the white wire from the window switch just taps in there?
