N2O Timing help!!!

Default N2O Timing help!!!

my combo is listed in my sig except I am using 2 cold fusion wet kits. I am looking to spray about 200 hp at the track for now. right now I have max timing set @ 34* I was told I should back it down to about 24* max is that too much? If anyone has a timing graph for a big spray N2O car I would appriciate a look @ it as I will be stepping up jetting to 350 soon

We run 20.5 on a 200shot on 93 octain and 20.5 on a 300- 350 with 116 octain in a stand alone

I understand our motors are a lot different but I run 34* N/A and 28* on a 125 wet shot and this works good in the Louisiana heat with no KR. If I were in you exact situation I would do exactly as you are assuming -8* to stick to the -2* for every 50hp of N2O rule plus the extra 2* of retard just to play it safe. I would next take it to the track and while logging for KR make a pass at 24* note your trap speed and then advance it back to 26* if you had no KR see if your trap speed was the same, faster, or slower. If you trap was faster with no KR I'd leave it there but if it slowed down or was the same I'd throw tha extra 2* of retard back in.
