Bottle Heater Switch???
Bottle Heater Switch??? What is everyone using to turn your bottle heater on? I don't have the switch that my NX heater came with & I have had problems with normal toggle switches only lasting a little bit.
I also tried to convert a car charger for an old portable Sony CD player in to a "switch", it did not work for very long.
(I had seen this done with a cell phone charger before...)

Yea just a standard relay. Hook up any 12v src like froma wire under your console for a light or a cig lighter that through your switch to the relay. that will provide the signal to control the relay. Then the relay should be 1. grounded, powered with fuse, and then connected to bottle heater.
4 wires on relay.
I guess technically you shouldground that signal wire through switch incase of short but if you are careful u should be fine and plus whatever u tie into im sure is grounded in the fuse box.
