Default Why have a remote bottle opener?

Yeah I was trying to figure this out. You can keep your bottle open all the time and just keep it unarmed until you want to spray so why have a remote bottle opener? Or am I wrong about keeping the bottle open all the time....downfalls?

If its continuely pressured, and blocked by mechanical means (valves and solenoids) the pressure will eventually find a weak spot and start to leak by the seals of the valves/solenoids or any other weak spot it finds (at fifty dollars a bottle).

Now think of your self jumping in your car...

Heater on as you roll out of the driveway...

A Mustake, (I mean mustang) rolls up along side and want to play...

Bottle is heated already becuase you put your Black Automatic DynoTune Heater on when you left the house, flip the switch on your custom Beer Panel that controls the DynoTune Bottle Opener and the bottle is open, hit the arm on the custom Dynotune/NX Dry System, or the Nitrous Outlet Wet LS1 Plate System, or both depending on your needs and engage WOT...

Sorry please excuse the shameless plug for the Beer panels LOL.

I see, I didnt realize it would wear on the valves ect. Would it be ok to keep the bottle open but unarmed for say 30 minutes at a time?

Yes that should be fine, but leaving it open 24/7 is not a good idea.

I have found that if you leave the bottle open all the time, eventually you will lose pressure. I have heard its because the plastic or nylon or whatever is in the nitrous lines over time is permiable to small molecules (similar to what happens when you leave a rubber balloon inflated over night) so you do have some sepage even if you dont have any leaks and it will eventually drain your bottle.
