Default I need help with purge line.

I ordered a complete wet kit for my 03 z06 from nitor dave. It came with some metal piping for the purge. The piping is not long enough to angle where the purge comes out of the hood. Are all purge lines made of metal piping or are some flexible plastic tube? Who sells a longer and better purge line? Thanks.

Although I don't see any place on their site where you can purchase just the nylon tube, I'm sure if you asked them and said, "Please," they'd sell it to you.

Now if only they carried it in black...!

I actually have a question myself. If I were to purchase said nylon line, could I still use the compression fitting, sleeve, and cap that came with my NX purge kit? or does nylon use something else? Also, how would I keep the nylon tube from flying out of the fitting? I can't quite figure that out... (my friend's boosted civic, yes civic, has a mechanical boost gauge w/nylon tubing and it keeps flying out!)

You can go to any parts store and buy some tubing to fit over the metal tubing which was provided in the purge kit. I would cut the metal pice to a good size and fit some tubing over it and run it out the car.

I got some tubing like the tubing from the bottle to the solonoid which came with an end to screw directly to the solonoid and went that route! But there are many ways to do it.

No one I know of sells a complete kit which exits the car. Those of us who have done the instal ourselves had to come up with something ourselves here. There are all kinds of things you can buy to complete the purge though.

Good luck
