I have a K&N oval air cleaner. According to the CF instructions, I put the nozzles in the mesh, one on each of the small ends of the filter. (dual feed dry system) I used a small plate on mesh to hold it in. I wasn't really happy with it so tonight I took it all apart. I made a U shape bracket and mounted the nozzles to each side of the U, then I bolted the bracket assembly INSIDE the air filter directly in the middle so both nozzles are pointing directly into the intake tunnel. It will make it a bit of a pain to swap jets, but I don't plan on doing that too often. I fed the lines through a couple of holes in the end plate of the filter.
I'm not too sure I really dig this setup either. Can some of you with dry systems post a pic. I'd love to see how you did it. I may just bolt on my stock air cleaner and mount them on the plastic.
