Default My TNT kit, 02 SS *PICS*

can't take the credit for the install, a very good friend of mine did most of the work. Still looks good though!

Bottle is going to be covered up, and I'm thinking abuot putting wire loom over the lines.. but as of right now I'm pretty happy with it. Total with plugs and kit was under 600 brand new

Nice install, but that looks like ported MAF ends. You had better put a tune on that thing for safety with nitrous. Do you ever hear it pinging just driving around?

Should I put the regular maf ends back on? Will that help? I've been hearing that the a/f gets all fucked up with the regular maf ends removed and the smooth **** put on without an aftermarket maf. I never hear it pinging cruising around, but of course that doesn't mean it's not. I'm putting it on the dyno here in about an hour or two so I'll put up videos. After it detonating like a ************ last night I'm not going to spray on the car unless it gets tuned well (by you for example) unless it's on race gas. We'll see what happens today.

Yes, definately put the stock MAF ends back on. Even with a stock MAF in place with an aftermarket airlid it will change your fueling and your timing. The 01-02 cars are very detonation prone as is here in AZ, adding nitrous on top of that may make it ping without tuning for it.

Looks good man! I would love to mount my NX fuel and nitrous noids like that. but I dont think my noids would work or have enough room on that kind of bracket.

It looks good as is. I wouldn't worry about the wire loom or covering the bottle. You're not going to be able to hide anything the way it is now, unless you cover your engine with a blanket.

Nic, I put the stock ends back on and it was still pinging on 109 and on a 100 shot pulled like 2* timing from like 5k-6k. Weird. It wasn't a happy camper on 150 so we left it at 100 for now.

Car made 306rwhp on the motor
tapping 150 made 446/509
100 made 390/406 in second gear (couldn't get it to lock up 3rd with no tuning software)
and 75 made 350something/whatever who cares it's a 75 shot.

car in 2nd on the motor made something like 286rwhp so it's definitely a hard hitting kit.

Can't wait to get it actually tuned for 91 octane. No idea what the **** was up with the pinging and **** especially on 150 - it was rich as **** the whole way through. On the motor the a/f was 12.50-12.74 all the way across the board.

And yes I have the microswitch in my hand so I can get in/out of it. I'm my own little window switch.

It's on a button in the car, as for the relay it's on the drivers side front, mounted with a self taping screw.
