Default lt1 timing

i have a tune from pcm for less and i took the chip out(1993) to spray 100 shot. my question is will I need to retard timming for a 150 or is stock timing fine, what sucks is that NA i have to run with the stock tune. but alvine has a two tune chip which you can change between a NA tune and i nitrous tune with just a flip of a switch. so how much should i have the timming retarded if im gonna spray 100 most of the time but 150 sometimes.

On a 100shot you should be fine on the stock tune or even the modified chip as long as you keep the temp down and run at least 93 octane. I have run as much as a 150shot on pumpgas and 93octane. I also run 200HP NX w/o pulling timing but run C12 in the tank. Later Clint

8-9 years ago I remember asking questions about timing and fuel on a blower setup. You know...I should have listened to the people with stock engines a little more

You may get away with not changing any thing...then again you might break ring lands to
