largest dry shot on straight pump gas
whats the largest shots on jut 93 pump gas. im debating between a 225 dry or a fabbing up a standalone and do a 225 wet. can a 225 dry be done? if so what injectors. car makes 410 rwhp on motor.
Depends on the setup really. My car wouldn't take a dry 150 shot on the stock tune with 93 gas. I would pick up KR unless I ran 100 octane or added some fuel into the stock tune. And yes a 225 dry can and has been done. It's all in the tune. I believe some 42's would work, but I would go a little bigger personally. 383LQ4SS and Robert have been playing with some big dry shots, look for some of their posts.

Yes, on pump gas is doable, but the tune must be spot on. I would go for low11.x:1 (leaner with race gas), which brings up nozzle placement. Unless you have your nozzle(s) located correctly (you'll go lean) you won't see the proper increase in your injector duty cycle, so wb/dyno tuning is allmost a must. Also having the correct injectors and fuel pump will be needed. One more thing for the big hits, a return and reg at the rails is highly rec. By the way I have done a 200 many times on pump gas, and this last weekend I did a 250rwhp shot a couple times and ran 50/50 92 octane and 104 trick. Numbers/time in my sig are on a 235rwhp shot. The race gas is just an added safety item which allows bigs hits to be done with more piece of mind. Good luck on your quest.
