Default What all do I need?

hey guys, I have never ran nitrous before. I am getting ready to spray. Here are some specs and parts that I have. Mods in sig, I do not want to have to get a tune, I do not want to chance blowing my motor.
Here is a list of parts I have. Tell me what else I need to insure a safe setup. I have 10lb. bottle, NOS fogger "tip" with 100hp jets in it currently that can be mounted in a hole in the airlid, WOT switch, line from bottle to nitrous solenoid and then line form solenoid to fogger, line from schrader valve to fuel solenoid and then line from solenoid to fogger. I do not have solenoids. Give me recommendations on what I need. i would even be content with 50-75 shot if it is a lot safer.

just go with the NX noids. they are adjustable from 50-150hp i believe. but you will have to get new jets if you dont have the same brand as the solenoids.

Also change your plugs to at least 1 step colder.

Sounds like a wet kit, if that's the case you'll want to mount the nozzle after the MAF, pre throttle body. It sounds like all you need are solenoids and some fittings to make it a complete kit. You will need some colder sprak plugs, and then if you want you can add a bottle heater and purge, along with the safety stuff like a RPM window switch and fuel pressure safety switch. If you bont plan on spraying over a 175 shot these solenoids will work for you:

If you need brackets for them:

And then the fittings (you will need 4 total):

Thanks,

Matt, this is a lot of help and some great pricing on the solenoids. I will be doing business with you. To clarify, I already have the 4 fittings entering and exiting the noids. Next are some safety features. What are the things i will be needing? how does a fpss work? how safe is a 75 shot? should i do a dry shot? I am so confused about nitrous right now after searching and reading for a few hours in this forum.

a fpss works by regulating you fuel pressure. it goes on the end of the schrader(Spelling???) valve and it reads your fuel pressure when spraying. if the fuel pressure drops below a certain pain it will cut of the nitrous. this is used to prevent blowing your car up if your fuel pump goes bad.
as for a 75 shot, its FINE! just make sure you change your plugs. Ngk-tr6 plugs are the most popular around here. besides what already mentioned you should be fine. i started my car with a 75 shot, it was fun, but not enough so now im spraying 100, and soon to be a 125 once i get a new fuel pump. be careful nitrous is addicting!

Either way you go you should be okay, do some reaserch on the wet Vs. Dry as there is a lot of info on this site. Since you have a auto trans you don't need a RPM window switch, unless you don't want to spray though the trans shifts (less wear and tear on the trans if you don't spray through it). I would suggest a bottle heater to keep the bottle pressure in a usable range, let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Matt
