In short, nitrous does place wear on internals, how much depends on shot size and frequency of use, as well as mechanical state of the engine as it sits, and tuning.
I only used juice at the track, well primarily at the dragstrip. On stock engine setup I limited myself to 150 only adding a fuel pump for safety concerns, and predator tuning (didnt have HPT back then
).
Leave the bottle in the car is illegal in some states, others it is legal only if not connected. Any warm climate states is pretty stupid to leave it connected, if you search there are a few that left bottles in the car, in the summer and the pressure relief popped expending all the nitrous to the interior of the car. Have I ever left my bottle in the car? Yep, all the time, living in Hawaii even...and I knew about the risks, I just ignored them.
Now hit those stickies up, use the search button and post back if there are any unanswered questions.
