Blow down tube
I have a 10lb NX bottle. I bought a blow down tube from Dynotune. I am kind of puzzled though. Obviously it has a "blowoff disk" all ready on/in the bottle. So, why do I need to put the one with the kit in?
Also, do I have to empty the tank to install this? Can I just use the disk thats on the bottle and just screw the tube onto it?
Know what I mean?

you won't be able to screw the tube onto the fitting that comes with the NX bottle. So you need to replace it, and when you do, use the new disc.
And yes the bottle needs to be empty when you do this.
Also* REAL IMPORTANT* don't overtighten the new fitting. Otherwise it will blow on the first fill!!!!

OK.. But when I need to get the bottle filled, I have to keep taking the tube off, thus needing a new disk?
I am planning on drilling hole or removing the grommet and then sealing the hole/tube with some sealant due to the car filling up with smoke from the burnout. So, the tube wont be easliy removable.

So, just make sure bottle is empty, install new fitting with new disc and blow off tube can be removed at any time?
Cool, cool... Going to be doing it tomorrow so just wanted to make sure I unerstand before I pop the fitting off with 500psi still in the bottle. Thanks

If you want to have a sealed outlet for the blow down you could do what I did. I did not use the aluminum tube. Instead I went to the local hydraulics shop and bought a -8 AN female fitting that accepts a -6 braided hose and screws onto the blow down fitting on the bottle. You can get these in straight, 90 or 45 degree angles. Then I bought a male -6 AN x male pipe thread bulk head fitting. I drilled a hole in the floor pan that the bulk head fittting will just fit through. Then I put a washer on the bulkhead fitting put it through the hole and put a washer on the out side and held it in place with a nut that came with the bulk head fitting. Now the hole is completly sealed.
I bought a -6 AN female fitting (this comes straight, 90 or 45 degree also)that takes a -6 braided hose and screws on to the bulk head fitting. Then I bought a hose the right length and had the hydraulic shop crimp the fittings on the ends. I now leave the -6 end screwed onto the bulk head fitting. And I take the -8 end off the bottle when ever I need to take the bottle out. It is very easy to use and works great.
