Great news is you can adjust the parameters for either. In my case, I kept PE from coming on until the TPS exceeded 95% and to compensate, I pumped up the VE tables by 1.13 in the 90-105KPa range. As long as I keep my TPS at 95% or lower, my car drives 100% like stock. With a 90mm TB, you can get nearly all your power with 95% TPS or less.
Ok now I understand what your saying. I never knew that the WOT PE multiplier came in at other than wot (is there a table for this if it's controlled by the MAP and overides the tps?). I guess I'll have to look next time I am lugging the motor and see the a/f go from 14.x to PE commanded. Thanks for the patience.
Robert

Edit: I see now, found the MAP kpa setting and the MAP Hyst setting and see how your doing it, very cool. We learn something everyday.

Patrick, how do you compensate for the fueling differences at say 3000 rpm vs 6000 rpm? You are getting twice the nitrous in the cylinder at 3k than at 6k, how does the SD tune account for this?

In theory, you'd think that in order to achive a nice level AFR, the nitrous flow would have to be proportional to RPM. Dry MAF setups can calculate load because it sees the nitrous, and wet kits add constant fueling with nitrous, so i'm trying to understand how it works with this method.

(sorry I know there are two dry sd threads going)

The VE tables contain the fuel curve that adjust the amount of fuel based on rpm vs MAP value. Works great NA and on the spray!

With this method, what happens at WOT NA? 10.0 AF? lol. Just curious, thats not too bad anyway. I'm really wanting to run a dry shot on my SD tuned SS. Thanks for the info!

Use the EFI Live COS5 it has its own nitrous tuner, By adding a pin to your ecm (pin 56 ) its activated by grounding it.Im runnimg the cos5 and it the best tune yet ,very easy to control. Im running in semi-OL Look at this for the dry nitrous tunning

is anyone else tuning their sd dry shots like patrick is. i would think this would work really good for my nova. the car is rarely driven on the street. i have been tuning the ve fueling myself with efi live, its pretty easy when my car is mostly used a wot. i was going to buy the hsw interface but now i am tuning in olsd and looking for a good way to spray a dry shot. the custom operating system #5 sounds good also but i cant figure out how to upgrade my op system. the tuturial just confused me,the method patrick explained here makes sense to me.
i just havnt seen anybody doing this. let me know what you think.
