need help
I just bought a 98 ss with 40k on it and a 6 speed. Its bone stock. Ive herd about a MS3 cam who makes that and a fast 90/90 whats this. I what about a 100 shot what do I need.
The MS3 is made by Texas Speed & Performance. They are a sponsor and have killer customer service. The MS3 loves nitrous.
Fast 90/90 refers to the FAST (Fuel Air Spark Technology) intake manifold with a 90mm inlet and the other 90 refers to a 90mm throttle body to match the intake. Much larger than the stock TB and intake.
If you're bone stock all you need is;
- Nitrous kit. Wet or Dry your choice
- Fuel pressure safety switch
- Window Switch/WOT Switch
- TR6 spark plugs
If you're planning on doing a cam, especially one as large as the MS3 I'd suggest upgrading the fuel pump to ensure your fuel system is up to par to supply the needed fuel.

do a wet kit, the zex kit is about the same price as nitrous express or nos's dry kit.
For nitrous, invest in the afformentioned mods, as well as an a/f meter. IF your car starts running lean get off the bottle. If your car starts running rich and you have a wet kit, than you probably ran out of juice. So i would invest in a remote pressure guage for the bottle.
As far as the fast 90/90 the fast intake manifold has 90 mm inlet for a 90 mm throttle body. THe throttle body isnt made by them its a combo that costs something like 1200. For 450 you can get an ls6 intake manifold which would be plenty. Get your stock tb ported. Save the money and invest in rear tires.

I would get your intake and exhaust done before even thinking about the cam or nitrous. Both have to be able to breath to work properly.

the ms3 is made by www.texas-speed.com I have one for sale w/ only 1,800 miles on it. It's in perfect condition I am selling because I biult a stroker and got a bigger cam. if interested I can do $320 shipped.
