Default NOS mini controller problem

Does anyone have experience with these? I have a tach signal problem I cant figure out. If you press button 2, you should see the tach reading. All I get is 0.00. I checked all the wiring and double checked. Im on pin 10 red connector and it is a soldered connection. Everything else on the controller seems to work fine except for the window switch part of it. It seems like it may not be getting the signal or it is not set up correctly. I have tried it on 8 cyl and 4 cyl with no change.I have even tried a second controller. This is driving nuckin futs. Any help? Is there another place for tach signal? By the way its a 99 TA.Thanks

Should be a white wire. I think you can pick a signal up on one of the coil packs as well. I know I picked up on the #7 coil for my wideband tach signal. I think it was a purple wire.
