Nitrous being lugged

Nitrous being lugged I have a 3.23 geared m6 with a tnt f2 system. What I wanted to know is will adding in some 100 octain and jetting it a little rich help prevent detonation?. The reason Im asking is consider the situation. I have m6 with 3.23's will probably be running a 100+150 shot.
What Im worried about is the load on the motor with the gears I have and spraying out of the hole. Or should I just wait to hit it in second gear?.

I understand I can use it in first gear but will the load of of the 3.23's and a sticky track make the motor prone to detonation?

It really depends on how well the engine can move air. If you are trying to launch just off idle than yeah probably not a good idea, if you are going to bring the rpm up so that it doesn't bog then there will be no problem. I honestly don't think you will have that much of a problem but if you are worried you could always get something like a digiset and set it up for like a 1/2 second delay to give the engine a chance to get some RPM.
