Default N2O pressure guage question

I would like to run a mechanichal N2o pressure guage up on the wiper cowl area of my car but I'm not sure if it will work. I imagine I could use an A.N. "T" fitting and run a short (12-18") peice of braided line up to a A.N./ 1/8" NPT fitting. I was just wondering if this would be a bad Idea, would it mess up the flow of the nitrous, or would it even read accurately? Thanks in advance.

Hmm.. gauges in front of the windshield... I haven't seen that since the Road Runners. Sounds nostalgic and kinda cool.
Can't see where / how it could mess up any flow. Just like "T" on the fuel rails or purge systems.

most people run electric gauges for pressure since with a line thats run up to the front you lose pressure because of the added area for the nitrous to pressureize. Also its another line for a leak to occure in. The sponsors on here have fittings that go on the outlet of the bottle to connect the sender or if you choose a line.

Thaks for the input! I'm aware of the electric sender type guages, I love the little rectangular one that Dynotune makes. The only reason I asked about using a mechanical guage was for the accuracy and the huge price difference.

Thanks for the reply.
LOL! Yeah I know the concept might be kinda corny but I hoped to be able to hide the guage behind the Ram-Air cowl. I like things clean not gaudy/ricerish.

"pressure" is a constant. You can't loose pressure. You can loose volume, but that would be at initial start up. You can loose pressure if your volume is insufficient though, and I believe that is what you are saying.
I do agree that more lines = more possibilities for leaking.
