i have had my nitrous on my ls1 for a while and i got to thinking, you usually dont hear about the precaussions taken to ensure you dont have a backfire. so i was wondering what you guys do. so far i only have the throttle switch and fuel pressure safety switch. what else can i do, i put alot of money in my car and dont want to jeperdize it all.

Correct a/f ratio, bottle pressure set correctly and annual maint of noids can help keep any rare back fire at bay.

You really need a window switch to be sure you do not spray below 3,000 rpm. Spraying at too low rpm will invite a backfire.

Preventing backfires is really prenty simple. It simply comes down to running a window switch to keep from spraying under to low of a rpm or taging rev limiter while on the spray. The other comes down to the tune of the air fuel.
