Default Nooby Nitrous Questions

just some quick questions...i just got a new cold fusion wet kit with 28 jets. not sure why theres so many jets?? anyways this is going on a 5.7 LS1 in my truck with a TSP 224r on a 112 LSA.

heres my starting questions:

1. what jets do 50 and 75hp? the lil paper i got with my 28 jets only says what works for 100, 125, 150 and 200. i never plan to go bigger than 125 (so i say ) just curious...

2. is it cool if i tap the nozzle inside of my GM egr blockoff plate? this will be on a truck intake with cable throttle body. going for a stealthy install and if i can tap into the egr it would work awesome with 3 piece engine covers

3. i already forgot the rest of my questions they will come back to me lol.

1. There's a "sticky" at the top of the Nitrous section that goes over jetting sizes/hp.
2. Wet system. yes. Close to tb is good. Would be cool hidden.
3. Ginkgo Biloba

haha. glad its cool to put the nozzle where the egr port used to be. i remembered another...

the nozzles they recomended are different than the ones listed in the sticky. heres what cold fusion recomended.

100 .052/.029
125 .057/.031
150 .063/.035
200 .073/.039

4. will it hurt anything if i leave the bottle open at all times? i plan to mount the 10# bottle underneath my bedside, and have all of my switches underneath my cup tray inside of my console to keep it sneaky. it makes it kinda hard to open the bottle while driving down the road though, and i dont have the dough to get an electric opener since i just got the ls1, cam, springs, nitrous etc.

I had a 2002 Silverado.. It was a 5.3L. Did you put a 5.7 in yours or is it an option I didn't know about? Also, I put a Vortech sc on it and don't think it would have hit the 13s... or maybe just barely touch 13s. You did 13s with just a cam? that's kickin it even if it is a 5.7. Good job!

A lot of people leave the bottle open. I don't (personal opinion) think it's a good idea. CF makes a Remote Bottle opener that is a solenoid. It's built a little different from regular noids. I would suggest that instead. I have both as a "fail safe". NitrousDirect.com has them and is a vendor on here.

actually i ran 13.8 with the original 5.3 with no cam, no forced induction, no nitrous, no heads etc....basically i hit 13.8 on a stock 5.3 with FULL bolt ons. hopefully going for 13.5 on the stock cam before i do the motor swap, cam swap and nitrous. im the only ecsb 5.3 to make 13's without a cam, nitrous, heads or forced induction so my trucks kinda known as the freak.
