In all the instructions for the arming switch in the car it says to go to a keyed/switched power source....I have a 2000 c5 and want to use my lighter power supply but it isnt a switched source, its has power all the time...is this a big nono or no big deal...

if it is a big nono where are you C5 guys getting your switched power source,,,im installing the switch plate right at the ashtray..(even though im a smoker i never use it, just shoot it out the window)
