Default MSD Window Switch

I got a used MSD win switch and i have it all hooked up so that the activation wire from the win switch goes to one side of the relay (-) and the pedal micro switch goes to the other (+). The pills are 3200 and 6200.

I also have an LED attached between the two, and when I push the pedal down and go WOT no matter what rpm, even with the motor off, the LED comes on...as if the window switch is just putting out a constant ground. The win switch is not putting out the ground within the window...just constant.

Is the window switch bad? Someone told me to check the mode to see if its in 4cyl mode but i dont have access to it right now, i will check later. Also, it came off an fbody so Im thinking that it must already be in 4cyl mode.

Put the LED on the red and yellow wires of the window switch.

Good advice, i should have thought to do that. Maybe the floating ground is giving just enough of a ground to light the LED when the tps switch goes high. What you say makes sense because even though it does light up the way it is attached, it is not very bright...actually pretty hard to see, but it still does light up. I'll give that a try when i have access to the car tomorrow. thanks
