Default Plugs???????

What plugs would you recommend for a 300 shot? I have edelbrock heads. I was using some NGK #3526 bp7efs but we felt that it wasn't a cold enough plug some we cut back on the shot. That ended up being my fastest pass yet. Those plug's had a projected tip. Next we tried some NGK #4091 r5671a-7 and the car feels like the when activated is blowing out the spark. Those plugs are not projected. I was wondering if the tip not being projected could be one of the reason's why the car started breaking up.

I now stand corrected. Those plugs were actually in the car when I first posted this. I bought NGK #4091 r5671a-7 and ngk #4554 r5671a-8 alwhile back and grabbed the wrong box when I made this thread. I only realized this when I got my new plugs (which I already had) in the mail today. Any new ideas?
