i have a nx bottle heater and was wondering how hot will it get?
the reason i ask is because my bottle is concelled in a regular duffle bag and i don't want it to melt the bag or even worse catch on fire. has anyone ever had there bottle heater on while in a duffle bag.

 

It gets pretty hot.. maybe 300+? when i touch it it hurts.

 

300 sounds awefull high,

they get plenty hot to the touch,
I would guess 120-150*, you figure it needs to be well over 200 to boil water, and I've never heard sizzleing

 

They stay under 200 for sure.

Unless they are off the bottle and left on for a long time.

 

Mine must be broken 'cause I touch mine all the time, especially when I need a hand warmer in the winter months.
