Default Cam overlap problem?

I've been discussing the possibilities of putting spray on my car. Now I'm wondering if my cam has too much overlap, leading to potentially having the dreaded nitrous backfire. It's a G5X3 on a 112LSA.

So far so good for me... I did hear some backfiring when I let off the gas, but I ran out of N20 and only fuel was getting sprayed into the motor.. Thats was my conclusion.

I've got less duration in my 5.0, 218/224 but my cam has a 111LSA and it works fine. I read a lot about nitrous cams before I took the dive and found that 112-114 should work fine with nitrous. Hopefully more LSx people will respond though. You also want to make sure you can scavenge exhaust very well as you increase overlap. If the exhaust can't scavenge quick enough, you increase your chance of a backfire.

My cam is on a 112 and has a bigger split in duration, you want a big split between intake/exhaust for nitrous.
