Default Bottle warmer rig up ?

Ok so i got a bottle in my car and i had heard that i could just get a blanket that warms up to get the pressure where i want it in the bottle instead of spending alot of money for a bottle warmer. So im wondering how do yall think i can rig that up. I dont know if yall have seen those Sunbeam warming blankets that they sell at the stores. Well if yall know how to rig it or any ideas let me know.

i have the dyno tune warmer and i am happy with it. you can get them from the vendors that are at the right hand side of the page-------------------------->
my buddy just got thr harris speed works revolution. that is a very nice warmer, it fits around the bottle nicely. you could also get it full adjustable and have it shut off at a certain pressure.

I'm sold, looks like santa might be bringing me a bottle heater...... I have so many parts backed-up to install, I don't know where to start. Not to mention the tranny has to come out and be rebuilt, car won't hardly move right now. AKA garage ornament!!!!!!

Thats a pretty good deal for that bottle warmer. And what if i just used a blow torch for now? Would that be safe even if i have a guage on the bottle that will tell me the pressure so i know when to stop heating it up?

No, the pressure guage does not tell you the spot your heating is approaching 300° and is weakening the bottle which is passing through 700 PSI and climbing (risk of bottle failure, the 3000 psi rupture disk is not going to save you). Secondary effects can be when you scar the bottle with heat marks, refill stations will not fill the bottle. So to save $100 you have to spend $200 on a new bottle

Why tempt fate? Accidents are accidents because no-one expects anything to happen to them. Industry is spending tons of money researching safety and most accidents are actually occur during routine task using shortcuts that someone has done over and over again...guys doing known shortcut and the "its ok I do it all the time" are playing russian roulette, and encouraging the "its ok nothing will happen" followers into doing something stupid.

Think about what the paper would say...
"Man heating up high pressure bottle with torch badly injured (or killed)"...

What would the first thing you think when you read something like that? Likely "What a dumbass..."

My Dynotune heater has worked flawlessly $99 is worth every penny. Regardless of manufacture, use the right means of heating (a bottle heater designed for heating nitrous bottles), and set it up per the manufactures instructions.

Let me add, most rules are made from lessons learned. Why is heating bottles with flames at the track a not permitted? Because someone learned the hardway what could happen. No doubt to someone who thought it would not happen to them, after all they have done it time and time again....

Thats my Safety Rant for the holiday season...

Live longer and don't shortcut.
Be a-lert, lerts live longer.

Happy Holidays
