Question 238/242 on116 safe to spray 150

is it safe to spray a 150 shot on this cam with all the safteys?
HSW Wet shot
ffps
Purge
HSW Heater
Dyno tune a/f gage reading of the oxgen sensor
BMN window switch
A/F ratio switch

Is there any other products I need to purchase?

it is a98 Formula with stock heads and all the bolt-ons

pt Body
ls6 intake
tts long tubes
3"Magna flow ehaust
Custome tune from RPM

anybody?????

I have been told that this to large of a cam to spray!!!

is that true?

I already have the kit
and the stuff I have listed to go along with it!

sorry a newbie to the spray!

I would say that cam is fine for a 150 shot. Look at all the cars out there that are using nitrous with a trex and ms3 and those cams are bigger than yours. With the 116 lsa I don't think it will be a problem. Call some respectable speed shops and get their opinion, theres plenty of them in texas.

you might want to check on an upgraded fuel pump....my guess is you will be pushing 5-550rwhp on a 150 shot....that is alot to ask of a stock pump

As far as the cam being too big...???? not sure where that is coming from...I am running a 246/254 .613/.590 112 in a LT1, going to hit it with 250-300

Thanks for all the info....

I am upgrading the fuel pump to the 225 wlb.

and the injectors to 42's.

that should be safe for this set up from what I have read!
