Default Will this do it?

Guys I was debating on a cam or spray...and for about the same money the spray will net a bigger gain, so I'm pretty sure thats the direction im gonna go. Would the following be everything I need?

HSW LT1 Wet Kit
HSW Advantage Progressive Nitrous Controller (I will be traction limited on street tires lol.)
Ashtray Switch Plate
NGK tr-6's
FPSS
Mallory 685

I will run a 125 shot...so how much timing would need to be pulled 4-5*

Any other suggestions or anything else to make it safer?

If you didn't advance your timing any you can spray it with out pulling any out. If you want to play it safe then you can take 2 degrees out, but you don't have to. Looks like you have everything that you need, the only other thing I can suggest is a bottle heater if you want to be consistant and get the full power out of the jetting that you are running.

If you have any other questions let me know.

Thanks,
Matt

Oops...I forgot to list the Heater and Purge kit from you. I had planned on getting both of those.

Well the car will have full exhaust and CAI along with a tune from a local tuner. So I'm not sure how much or if the timing will be advanced or not, I will find out for sure though.

I have a question though...with the Mallory 685 and progressive controller, If I set the window switch on the 685 at say...3200-5800 and have the progressive controller set to like 50% start, 100% finish the spray wont come in until 3200 right? I mean the progressive controller wont spray 50% off the line or will it? I just dont know if there is any reason to get both, would traction be that limited at 3200 rpm's?

You are correct; the window switch will be controlling the progressive controller. So if it's set to come on at 3200 rpms the progressive controller won't start progressing the solenoids until 3200 rpms. Depending on what you set the build time to on the Advantage (say it's set to 1 second) it'll go from the set % to the final % in 1 second and then it will be full 100% power until the hit the off setting on the rpm window switch.

If it's a street car that goes from a dig a progressive controller will help a lot. If it's a track car with slicks and suspension dialed in you may be able to hook right up, depending on track prep.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Matt

Thanks Matt, ok now one more thing...will the car spray through the shift? I dont want to beat the **** out of the tranny...but I dont know how that works? If it sprays from 3200-5800 starting in 2nd gear what happens when it shifts to 3rd?

Thanks Again

You'll want to set the RPM window switch to turn off right before the trans shifts, like 100 rpms or so, if you don't want to beat on the trans. After the shirt you can have it so that the progressive controller starts over again or you can set it so you only progress the shot one time, for instance kit becomes active, progressive controller goes though the build sequence, full 100% power is reached, window switch turns kit off right before shift point, trans shifts, nitrous is re-activated at 100%.
