Default NOS 5130 kit Installed as of yesterday

Well I just bought the NOS 5130 wet kit for my 1999 camaro SS M6
I know it was for the 4 or 6 cyl cars but the guy I bought it from said the only difference was it was a single fogger kit.


All I was really looking for was some more ummphh to the car but I want to be safe about it. I don't want to worry about Detonating or BOOM!

I will be spraying a 75 shot and NO higher. Is this a safe setup. Please inform me on everything I need to do to keep my motor running strong with the nitrous.

As of now everything is installed but I need to order the bracket so that the bottle can sit in between the rear seats. Also ordering a purge kit and the NGK TR6 plugs.

I would like to know some precautions as I' am not that knowledgeable with nitrous.



Should I wait to spray until I have the car tuned?

Allways verify the jetting with a wideband. Do the plugs before the spray also.

Yea I definitely plan on doing the plugs before I spray.

what do you mean by verify the jetting with a wideband?

Put the jets in the car, hook a wideband up to it and spray it to make sure the jets are putting you within a safe a/f ratio.

I do believe that the only diff in the kits are the size of the solenoids and the main feed line is a -4 instead of a -6 like on the 8 cylinder kits.
