MSD window, nx wot/tps switch question.
I got tired of having micro switch problems and wired up a nx wot/tps module everything lights up when turn key to on, light come on when tps gets to 100%, should the solenoids click when I take the tps to 100% with car not running, or will the msd not let it, even though the rpm is set at 0.
Thanks

I can't answer your question since I have no experience with a tps switch but to eliminate the window switch just use a jumper wire to ground prior to the switch assuming you wired it to complete the ground circuit.
Hmm, do you have a fuel pressure switch wired in too? Otherwise if you flipped the activation switch, I would imagine the solenoids should fire with the window switch at zero.
However as I think about it, this reminds me of the recent thread where the guy wanted to wait to flip the activation switch until he was at WOT and in window range to spray immediately on turn-on - and the solenoids wouldn't open. I thought the problem might be that the window switch has to be powered up in the disengaged state first as a fail safe, and won't activate immediately on power-up. Which would be the case if the range was set to 0 rpms and the ignition turned on (without running).
I say try jumpering the window switch first, see if that gets the noids to click.

when testing like your trying to do unhook and ground out the yellow wire on the window switch.
this will cancel/bypass the set rpm window(s)
its how i test fire when mocking diff things up.
works great.
FWIW
