Default Good Nitrous head gaskets...

has anyone tried cometic gaskets. or is most people running the stock gasket.
i have a 99 ls1 with about 250 on it some and some other small stuff, and my car just blew both head gaskets at the track tonight. i think it might have something to do with the stock head bolts, and not the gaskets. but i was just wanting to get some other opinions on the subject. i was thinking that it might me lifting the heads? or something along those lines. i guess my question is, is anyone running stock head gaskets with arp studs on a all nitrous motor? or are the switch to a different type head gasket?

On the stock cubes i aways had good luck with the gm stock mls gaskets (never blew one). But i also had head studs to i think you need to invest in some head studs and you should be good to go.

Stock or Cometics for me. When I built my 347, I used studs and cometics. I tore it down after a few months to "demod" it before sale, reused the cometics with no issue, I know cuz I see my old Camaro everyday
