Default Bottle Guage Needle Swung past Stopper

What do I do? The bottle was in my garage, partially full. I checked it the other day and the needle had jumped the stopper/pin.

I shook the bottle, weighed it, it was nearly empty. Then I released the rest of the pressure out of the bottle, and took the gauge out. It will not go back to the "right" side of the gauge.

Should I return it? or should I accept the fact that somehow I ruined it, and buy another?

Depending on how old it was, I would contact the vender you got it from, and see if its under manufactures warranty or not, if it is they will likely replace it, if its not, you will know to buy a new one.

If your troubled by "Down Time" then buy a new one regardless and try the vendor warranty to possibly have a spare gauge for next time.

Mine went all the way back over to zero one hot day with a over filled bottle. Just had to crack it open a few times.

That doesnt sound like his problem.

bottle gauges arent very expensive...a new one wont set you back too much.
