Default May have caused damage!!!!Please help

I was taking off my positve terminal on my battery, andf I touched the fuel solonoid steel braid line for a milli-second. It is the one from the rail to the noid. Some of the braid was burnt (one strand). It seems nothing leaks or is broke but my concern is the noid?? Did i hurt it in any way........

Please give me some suggestions on what i should do if any???

I am such an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your thoughts!

The noids shuld be OK. You can always take it apart and make shure the plunger is OK and it seals ok.

noid is fine. But arcing against the ss braid on a line often makes a pin-hole in the line. Check it closely.

yup ive done it too, its mostly just a scare, rare chance anything actually went. The worst i've done with something like that is I somehow blew my gage fuse and the car wouldnt start because of it, some kind of odd safety switch...
