Default What gauges are recommended for a safe Nitrous system?

I don't want to end up having my car look like a jet but want an ideal setup. I currently have a Fuel Pressure and Vacumn. I am thinking of ditching the Vacumn and replacing it with a Nitrous Pressure. Would I also need a EGT or Wideband? My issue is I have a 2 gauge pod and would drop a NP if thats all I need, but if a third is needed I will get a digital Dynotune NP gauge and put another round gauge in the pod. Please advice. Teddy

Wideband and Nitrous Bottle Pressure is what I went with.

You could replace the vacuum w/ a Wideband and use the ashtray switch panel in from DynoTune that has the digital gauge in it.

Here is my WB and Nitrous Bottle Pressure (DynoTune Gauges).

Here is a way to have your Pod gauges (Wideband and Fuel Pressure) and the Nitrous Bottle Pressure in the ashtray. Availible at DynoTune (Different color gauges also availible).

not sure what the cup holder looks like in a C5 (heven't been in one in a long time) but I have seen people cut the bottom of the cup holder and put a guage there too... easy to do and noone will even notice it until they really look.

Dynotune is what brand I'm switching to from Autometer. They are supposed to be far more accurate & they are digital.

Beer- I might sell both of the gauges and use what you have and then get a FP for the ashtray area. what I want to prevent is having 2 different gauges in the pod. I think that looks tacky. I love the Autometer CF gauges only because they have yellow dials and match my car. I might just save up and order the N20 pressure gauge to match my fuel pressure and just add the wideband down low. I have also considered yanking my flipout 7" and having C5 Kid make me a new bezel that allows for a double din and a gauge below where the cup holder usually sits. That is the ideal setup but for now I need to figure something out. Thanks for the pics. whats funny is you and I have very similar cars and when I read your N20 posts very similar ideas.

LOL Thanks Teddy!

One thing on the DynoTune Fuel Pressure gauge, if your using your Autometer Fuel Pressure gauge for Data logging (I am just using the sending unit, no gauge), according to Dan, the Dynotune one will not work (it is not 0-5V output) with HPT or EFI for logging, other than that the FP gauge will fit and work fine in that DynoTune ashtray panel.

My car was tuned over the weekend by a guy with EFI Live. I am not sure if he was bullshitting me, but he said their was almost $10K in software. He had a few different tunes. None the less after a few WOT pulls and him looking over the logs my car is running great. I know he did not use my gague but he was a ble to read everything from the laptop. He made sure at WOT I had 0-1 counts of knock and adjusted my fuel mix. He said he also pulled as much Torque Management he was confortable doing. something like 15% or points were left??? Either way it was the best $150 I spent in awhile.
