I just got the wet zex kit installed on my 97 A4 z28. The first problem is that it makes a sound resembling a deasil truck that u can only hear from the inside of the car at idle and it idles at 1000 rpm's. The second problem is that when im normally driving the car wont downshift into lowest gear as if its not detecting WOT. Ill floor it at 15 mph and it'll stay in 2nd, floor it at 65 stay in 3rd etc... Any suggestions on how to fix these problems or why there happening.

 

check where you tapped for your WOT switch.. there could be a poor connection there
