MAF screen issue

MAF screen issue I have recently installed a Pro Dry Shot on my C6 LS2A6 and intend to run 75-100 shot on sporadic occasions... I have a few questions.....the nozzles are placed about 3-4 inches from the MAF, one aimed towards the roof of the Blackwing and one angled towards the floor, both in the general direction of the MAF....is it mandantory to remove the screen?
If I need to remove the screen exactly how do I go about its removal without damaging the MAF? I admit I would just as soon leave it alone but if the consensus is to remove , I will.
Are there any issues in doing this without a custom tune?

The word is that if its a dry kit then you have to remove the screen as condensation could build up on it, cause blockage and then freeze enough of the holes shut that you'll run into problems. If the c6 maf is anything like the stock ls1 maf then just remove those 4 bolts on the maf, carefully pull the maf end off with the screen and push the screen out with your thumbs or a blunt object. Then reassemble.
