curious about the injectors mounted on an angle, will they not fire into the port walls?

has anyone thought about changing the cowl to a 3rdgen cowl?
i mean they fit a carbed v8 in there with it. i was thinking getting a firewall piece/ cowl pieces and replace them with 3rd gen pieces. with that you could still have wipers
