Default HSW Noids

Has anyone had a problem with the HSW Solenoids not being able to handle high bottle pressures and there for the solenoids not working? I ask bc when i got my kit, a friend gave me a TNT bottle heater. I turned the heater on and let it sit for about 30 mins and went to go see what she would do with upped bottle pressure, nothing, not even purge. This never bothered me before this weekend when i put the 150 shot on (with previously having my car dynoed at 320rwhp) and took it to the dyno and only put down 388hp and 492tq, any opinions? i am not sure about the bottle pressure bc the gauge i was sent was messed up but i havent had time to send it away

You could have had just too much pressure, all noids are pressure sensitive, 1100+ kind of a thing, you really need a gauge.

Correct, if the bottle pressure is too high the solenoids will not open. No reason at all to run the pressure high (over 1000 psi) when the system jetting is based off of 950 psi. Get that gauge back to us so we can check it out.

Thanks,
Matt

I heated my bottle up last year to about 1150psi and it wouldn't spray. I knew that solenoids don't work above 1100psi. I just cooled it down to 1050psi and all was well. If you have dynoed 320 na and only 388 on the bottle, I'd bet that the bottle wasn't full or that it was a cold bottle. Nozzle placement can make a big difference to. It's always best to dbl check everything for best results.

Something isn't right with that one. Send it in to be checked.

I recently changed my jet sizes to work off 900psi (was jetted for 1050) and am very happy with the results. It feels stronger, takes less time to heat up, and the pressure dosent drop as much at the end of the run.
