Default Bottle Mouting Question..

Does the way you mount the bottle affect performance or anything else. Such as straight up, on the side, 45 degree angle, etc?
Reason asking: Ive mounted my bottle in my spare tire area and i cant fit the bottle opener how ive got it mounted. If i stand the bottle straight up and down it will fit perfectly.

I don't think it will be a problem just put the bottle nut towards the back of the car because the angled pick-up tube is angled towards the bottle nut. I've seen people take out the tube and mount it upside down...that's ofcourse if you run your bottles until they are completely empty, most don't.

There is a guy on here that has two bottles mounted in that manner in a convertible, there is a pic in the where to mount the bottle thread...

It does make a difference. There's a tube that goes down in the bottle and then angles at the bottom. You want the bottom of the bottle at the lowest point, and the feed line DOWN. Also, you want the bottom of the bottle towards the rear of the car so that under acceleration the n2o will be pushed to the bottom at the pick up. When your bottle is low, you want every last bit at the pick up tube.

Standing upright works fine, just make the feed line towards the rear.
